The Society for Ocean Sciences is dedicated to promoting preservation and an appreciation of marine environments through education, research and conservation. Through our recently formed LEAP fund, under-represented students and those with financial difficulties will be able to experience the Chesapeake Bay through our scholarship opportunities.
