Join an Expedition

Volunteer on an SOS expedition to San Salvador Bahamas and experience the excitement of snorkeling with sea turtles, nurse shark and sting rays. Visit coral reefs: one of the planets most threatened marine ecosystems and work with scientists to monitor their health. SOS run research projects on the island, which may vary each year. You will get the chance to get involved in conservation and research while volunteering on an expedition.

The Society for Ocean Sciences is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity organization. By volunteering to participate in research, conservation or education, you will receive a tax deduction on costs incurred to join an expedition.
