Snorkeling in San Salvador

Tropical Marine Biology and Natural History for Science Teachers

Summer 2013

Join us on a field experience investigating tropical marine natural history. Using the Gerace Research Center as our base of operations, we will explore the intertidal and marine habitats of San Salvador Island, Bahamas. In this protected environment, we will snorkel over coral reefs and seagrass beds, walk on secluded beaches, and observe first-hand the complexities of tropical marine systems.
